Most people would panic, get upset, or even cry when they spill their drinks. I grabbed my camera.

How we view our lives and the events that occur in them, shapes our existence into whatever we choose. I chose to find the beauty in the situation, and as you can see, it has led to one of the most beautiful pictures I've ever taken.

May this image inspire you to view your life in a more positive light, as the only things we can ever truly be certain on improving are our own actions and reactions.

Great shot! The bookeh in the background and in the foreground "puddle" both compliment the photo marvelouslly, especially with the sharp focus on what's left of the bottle's lid. Very interesting idea - and interesting philosophy, aswell!

Thank you kindly for the phenomenal compliments. I love how every part of this photo feels like it belongs there, and I'm glad you also feel this way.

As for the bottle lid, I think you mean the ice cube that's melting. This was an iced drink that tipped over from my Starbucks cup, and there was no lid. There is more ice melting in the background of this pic as well.

And that philosophy will change your life if you allow it to :)

Thanks again for the great response!

Wow, great capture! & Great thinking on your part, grabbing the camera instead of the dishrag.

Love the detail in the ice. So surreal and peaceful.

One of my favorites that you have done - sometimes beauty is created in events that are perceived by most as a mistake or accident. You have managed to take the accident, and capture it in a beautiful way. Breathtaking, as always.
